BACKGROUND / PURPOSE
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (MoAl) convened the 2nd National Agri-Food Investment Summit (NAFIS 2026) at the Jazeera Palace Hotel, Mogadishu, on 11-12 August 2026, under the theme “From Commitments to Action: Accelerating Investment to Transform Somalia’s Agri-Food Systems for a Sustainable and Resilient Future.”
Building on the inaugural Summit held in May 2025, NAFIS 2026 was designed to shift the national conversation from the identification of opportunities toward the delivery of concrete, bankable and scalable investment transactions across Somalia’s agri-cultural and food systems.
