Today, MOASomalia, H.E. @Hon_Maareeye is delighted to inaugurate the Somali Agricultural Women Association (SAWA) at the Ministry headquarters in Mogadishu. This association is dedicated to empowering women farmers by providing capacity building, fostering networking and advocacy, enhancing agricultural production, and promoting market and trade opportunities. Through these initiatives, SAWA will significantly contribute to income generation, job creation, and the overall economic empowerment of women.
