TO SUPPORT SERVICE DELIVERY FOR FARMERS ,MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND IRRIGATION LAUNCHED 20 TRACTORS

On October 2nd, H.E Excellency Abdi Hayir Maareeye, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation
of the Somali Federal Government, launched 20 tractors at the ministry headquarters.
This initiative, made possible through a donation from the World Bank, aims to support service
delivery for farmers and cooperatives. During the launch, the Minister was accompanied
by departmental directors and the Director General, expressing his appreciation for their
dedicated work as part of the team. The Minister also stated that the Ministry of
Agriculture is committed to working closely with farmers to help Somalia achieve self-sufficiency
through increased agricultural production
